Attracting What You Want, positively
A friend recently asked me “I have to start attracting more money, what do I do from a Law of Attraction perspective?”
I answered her “That statement alone is blocking money from coming to you.”
She then responded “How, if I’m focusing on what I want?”
I responded “Because your statement is actually more about the lack of money which is keeping you in a lack of money vibration.”
It’s so important to understand that the Law of Attraction is always responding to our vibration. We offer a general vibration, as well as a vibration about specific things like: money, relationships, career, etc.
But getting back to the statement my friend said, “I have to start attracting more money” might as well have been said “I don’t have enough money and I need more.”
Can you see how that is a low vibration statement about money?
Stating the positive
I always tell my clients that they must start becoming very aware of what they’re thinking about, and how they’re thinking about it. This is because sometimes we may think we’re thinking about something we want to attract into our lives in a positive way, but it’s not.
However, with time, practice, and awareness we can become like thought detectives and catch ourselves focusing on something in a low vibration way. Once we do that, then we can realize it and in that moment ask ourselves “What do I want?” about whatever it was we were thinking about that was low vibration.
In the example about money, I suggested to my friend to tweak her statement to something positive like “I feel so abundant thinking about everything I have” or “I have so much money that I can buy anything I want, and enjoy it!” or “I can’t wait to go to the mall and find so many things that I want to buy, it feels so good to have that kind of money.”
Truth or Dare – Attracting More
You might be thinking that all those statements aren’t true, and you’d be correct. However, we have to remember that the Law of Attraction doesn’t care if the vibration we’re putting out isn’t real, it’s just responding to it and giving us more of it.
That’s why we have to focus on what we want, so that what we want becomes our what is. If we keep focusing on what is (like lack of money), then that’s what we’re setting ourselves up to attract.
It’s really only because I’m a very experienced and certified Law of Attraction life coach that I understand the depths of the Law of Attraction more than most, and I’m still understanding it at deeper levels as well. It’s interesting that we get it at different levels as time goes by.
So the next time you suddenly realize that there’s something you want to attract, make sure you’re thinking about it in a way that you’ll attract what you want, instead of what you don’t want.
It’s so wonderful when you live a life where you attract what you want, feel happy, and just enjoy life.
