Three Common Mistakes People Make When It Comes To The Law Of Attraction
Manifesting greatness in your own life and inspiring positive personal change are things we all aspire to do. While reading inspirational work by the movers and shakers of the world or enlisting the help of a mentor can be the catalyst you are looking for, a certified life coach offers many additional inputs. This value rises even more if you seek the services of a certified Law of Attraction Life Coach.
However, when it comes to “the law of attraction,” there is much misleading information and many contradicting theories. For example, people don’t realize it’s not enough to solely focus on your intention. It would be best if you also took action by doing whatever must be done to reach that goal in reality.
To help you avoid some basic errors that could hinder your personal progress and stop you from living the life you deserve, Life Coach David has put together three of the most common mistakes people make when it comes to the law of attraction.
1. Thinking you understand it, but you don’t
People often think they understand the law of attraction. However, this is not entirely true. You may have some idea what it is about, but not the whole picture. For example, when I ask the question, what is the law of attraction? I hear, “what you think about is what you attract.” Then I ask, “why is that?” The usual answer I get is, “I’m not sure.” This is a critical mistake. You see, if you’re not sure why that’s true, then you do not fully understand the law. You have to care about the complete picture for it to work in your favor.
By the way, the answer to why is because what we think about causes us to feel a certain way and these feelings cause vibrations either high or low. The law of attraction responds to that vibration and matches it. Therefore, if you’re putting out a positive, high vibration about something you want to attract, you’re setting yourself up to attract it. Contrastingly, you’ll continue to block if you’re putting out a low vibration (more negative) about something you want to attract.
2. Claiming to have tried it and found it didn’t work
Another mistake I see far too often is people claiming to have tried the law of attraction, only to find it didn’t work for them. This is misguided as there’s no such thing as trying the law of attraction.
The law of attraction is something that’s constantly responding to you. It’s not something you try for a few weeks with the expectation of quick and easy results. Only once you know how to use the law of attraction can you attract and manifest what you want. Remember, the law of attraction is always consistent. What you are living and experiencing is always an exact replication of your vibrational patterns of thought.
3. Failing to understand if you are in receiving or resistant mode
Finally, one of the more common mistakes people make when it comes to the law of attraction is not being able to tell what vibrations they are putting out. If you are unable to see when you are in a resistant mode, feeling pessimistic about what you want to manifest, or are feeling good and excited, thankfully looking forward to receiving. Being aware of the vibrations you are emitting, keeping positive expectations, and having a thankful mindset about what you want even without knowing how it will happen is the trick.
